Petersburg Virginia Chooses KME

Nesquehoning, PA –KME is pleased to announce that the City of Petersburg, Virginia has awarded Goodman Specialized Vehicles and KME an order for a custom pumper, 79’ AerialCatTM ladder and a 55’ FirestixTM.
All three units feature a 100” KME PredatorTM Severe Service cab and chassis with cab EMS compartments with internal and external access, RollTek occupant rollover protection, and SKF-Vogel lube systems.
The pumpers include seating for four, 1500gpm single stage pump, 500 gallon water tank, and 3/16” aluminum body with 29” deep full height/split depth compartmentation and body roof compartments.
The ladder truck has seating for six, 1500gpm single stage pump, 500 gallon water tank, 10kW generator, and a 79’ 750lb tip load ladder. KME ladders lead the Fire Service in horizontal reach, tip load capacity (wet and dry), high-capacity water flow, monitor positioning and safe access to the ladder.
The KME Firestix™ water tower is versatile with minimum setup time to maximize firefighting response capabilities and offers the best of both a pumper and a ladder. This truck has seating for six, 1500gpm single stage pump, 500 gallon water tank, and a 55’ 500lb tip load water tower.
